Binderien mallit
Muunne binders come in several variations and models, with choices between two lengths, two back options, and a front zip closure option. Custom options include an added stretchy hem band, or larger/smaller neckline and armholes.
Selecting the right model for you depends both on of your personal preferences and on some features of your body. I'm outlining some generally applicable recommendations below, but please note that our bodies are unique. If you need help, please contact me!
Half length binder

- reaches above the waist
- loose hem
- the trusty basic length!
Full length binder

- hem reaches hip level
- front lining ends above the waist with a visible stitch line
- especially for those who need more support due to their larger body size or amount of chest tissue, or for those who want their binder to look more like a tank top
Closed back

- covers the upper back
- especially those with more soft tissue in their upper body. Though most of the compressive force is around the torso, a closed back gives it more support
Racer back

- arm holes curve towards the centre back
- gives more room to the shoulders and shoulder blades - good for those with wide and/or muscular shoulders
Zipper front binder

- donned by putting arms through the arm holes and closing the zipper in the front
- especially for those with limited arm/upper body motor skills, mobility and/or strength
- however closing the zipper requires fine motor skills, and closing the zipper over the chest or pulling the already closed binder down over the chest will always take some finger/hand/arm strength
- also a good option for those, who may need to be able to remove the binder very quickly due to asthma, panic attacks, or similar
